Cabin design

Taking the examples from the Great Bamboo Walls, my aim was to achieve the same sense of space feeling for my cabin.  Providing a three different levels of height, gives the divided space. Allows people to flow, as i concentrate the position of the utilities.
Also concentrated on the texture of the building, as i got inspired from the architect Kengo Kuma. Bamboo`s are used, its unique and simple as it fits my style of design.

Its simple structure as privacy and disclosure spaces are separated. There are three levels, as the top floor is used for privacy which people utilize the space less. The living room is located in first floor where more spaces are provided for guest. Therefore the bathrooms are located halfway between the bedroom and living room, allows to travel the same distance from upper floor or from ground floor.

Delightful
Such architecture work as Great Bamboo Walls, designed by Kengp Kuma. I have a great insipartion of using those walls as a bamboo to give texture. As my cabin design is more focused on outdoor feeling, as the balcony is the essential part of the house. The shading is all based by bamboo walls as i utilizing the idea of my exemplar. An Asian style of touch, provides a delightful feeling of nature, simple and uniqueness.

Environment FIlter
The roofing system is simple as its not a triangular shape. Utilizing this shape of roof, one side of wall is higher which allows to insert a window. By that, natural sunlight will shines through from above ceiling and shines the entire space of room.
Understanding the sun movement in Australia, during summer the sun is more towards to south then its north in winter. Therefore more bamboo walls are used in the south and west side of building. The sun is strong more in the afternoon as it needs shading, however bamboo walls are to create a shading texture, using the same concept as Bamboo Great Walls.

Utilizing the glass walls are the sign of attracting natural sunlight. However attracting more sunlight within the building will increases the temperature. Therefore the bamboo walls are placed against every outside wall to control the sunlight.

Site Plan

Delightful
The structure within inside or outside has a special texture. Using does bamboos as ceilings and walls could give several senses to clients. Such the sunlight penetrates through the glass walls with bamboo walls can create a stripes of lights which gives texture.
The bamboo ceiling creates a different sense of space.

Awhile for blogging

Well here i am, back to my blog. Haven`t listed my story for awhile... well nothing interesting anyway.
Mostly for the last 2 weeks... the pressure of uni work just keeps on piling in... no time to waste, no time for rest.
3am bed for most the time... trying to finish my assignments and its not healthy.
Well least i have a story to tell.
Sunday was my break and night out, went to memory.
Predrinks at ben`s house and had a laugh and gd time. Thats what i needed... something to get away from pressure.
The night was awesome, danced and enjoyed myself. Drinking and talking, meet up with friends and new people. Realized the time goes quick, checked my watch and it was 3am already. Tired and sleepy...
soon reached to daniel`s house i was dropped, and slept like nobody`s business.

Woke up at 12 and went to lunch and tea for chillaxing. Awesome.

nway~ i still got stuff to do and my life is going smooth with pressure.
But no dramas, just taking a day by day.

Back to my gym routine, i had a week off and i did my leg session yesterday and killed myself.
My legs are dead, every step of stairs is a struggle, and today was my back.
I can feel it now.. its tight and pain will come tomorrow. At least i know that its working.

Nway~ i gotta get back in to my another routine of UNI. Everyone take it easy~ and keep smiling.
Because a smile can change your life. Smile can move you forward. Smiling is free.
